This is just a small part of an 'old machine'. The picture was taken on the ancient industrial site called 'Grand Hornu', near Mons (Beglium). It was part of a mine, but now it contains a Museum for Contemporary Art (MAC's)
@ Mena: Thanks for the link. This 'youtube-film' gives a good view. Ther is also a site of the museum itself: http://www.mac-s.be/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=28 It is really "une cathédrale de l'industrie" (and one should remember it was mainly built between 1810 and 1830)
