"I did not send you a photo for "civism", because I was not very sure about the subject and what I had in my collections. But now that I have seen what has been published, I could have found a few possibilities. Nevertheless I have chosen to send you THIS picture. I have bought this little guide "Speak and understand Portuguese" in Dutch. I consider it as an act of "Civismo" in a "virtual" community of at least 95% op Portuguese people. I hope it will help me soon."

Personally I take this as the most interesting side of Internet communities like ours. Amazing how people from different places, with completely different backgrounds, cultures, and even ages, communicate and create a human network like this. Your dutch sentences are pretty good: "G. is een erg goede student! Gefeliciteerd..."(zijn = estar, ser,...).
My language is of course "like german", such as yours has a lot of words similar to spanish.
Online translations are not always very accurate, but they give you a good idea of what it means.
