This is just a small part of an 'old machine'. The picture was taken on the ancient industrial site called 'Grand Hornu', near Mons (Beglium). It was part of a mine, but now it contains a Museum for Contemporary Art (MAC's)
@ Mena: Thanks for the link. This 'youtube-film' gives a good view. Ther is also a site of the museum itself: http://www.mac-s.be/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=28 It is really "une cathédrale de l'industrie" (and one should remember it was mainly built between 1810 and 1830)

Gustaaf,is this a game?
You show us a detail, we have to guess what it is?
Is this holding something together?
I don't know...
It seems "not holding" enough tight... that's why the detail is so important!
Is it the idea, G.?
Um pormenor muito técnico que não sei decifrar
Efeito de força transmitido por uma excelente foto
A fotografia está espectacular, seja o que for...

Thanks G. I've visited Grand-Hornu by your appointment, and the Museum at the site in the web. Very impressive!
@bettips: I wish I could take you there in 'the real world'... I have two other pictures on my Flickr-site (tag: grandhornu).
Gustaaf, this is a great place.
Here a link to the Museum for Contemporary Art
