Uma distância intransponível.

O que me comove: duas figuras, duas torres, dois candeeiros. Pares. Distantes. Nunca sobrepostos. Gosto desta imagem.

Original esta fotografia: 3 distâncias, todas elas diferentes, tocando o céu azul.

Hello Artspotter!
Well, I must confess I don't know who made them, but I'm already trying to get this information.
They are in the Spandauerstraße(Mitte) in Berlin. On the background you can see the Nikolai Church.
I will let you know as soon as I know it.
Have a very Merry X-Mas!

Hello Gustaaf,
I've already posted this at your X-Mas picture.

Thank you Mena M.
When I saw your picture,I thought it had to be some place in Germany, maybe because of the shape of the church.
I love the "verticality" in this picure. I saw the first sculptures by Balkenhol (maybe 10 years ago) in a Belgian artgallery (Deweer). It were beautiful woodcuts, painted like middle-age sculptures. They were very impressive, but I did't expect to see them on a column outside. They seemed so fragile, not supposed to be in northern weather-conditions... But maybe these are in other materials...
Thanks for all the information (i'll go through very soon) and have the time of your life... now and in 2007!
