Our beautiful Parque Eduardo VII!
Excellent choice, David!

Did you know that
Eduardo VII Park was originally called Liberty Park. It was renamed with the name of the King of England who came to Lisbon in 1903 to reaffirm the Anglo-Portuguese alliance.?

Hence 'Avenida da Liberdade', then. Thanks, Mena, for helping me to make the connexion. I could think of better British monarchs to commemorate, however.... And I hope we'll connect with Lisbon again before too long.
